Travel and Costs

Travel

There is a direct flight from Oslo to Harstad, leaving from Gardermoent airport, Oslo and arriving at Evenes airport, Harstad.

If you also join the social program: For the return flight, after visiting Lofoten, it might be best to buy the ticket from Svolvær airport Helle or from Bodø airport.

Two choices:

• If you only join the boattrip from Harstad to Svolvær in the Lofoten Islands on the 7th, you can leave directly from Svolvær in the evening.
• If you join all the social program lasting to the 8th, you can leave Svolvær on the 8th in the evening.

We have aplied for special prices (group) from Oslo to Harstad and from Svolvær via Bodø to Oslo. Therfore it is important to know the number of persons who want to join the social program.

If you wish an independent stay in Lofoten we here inform you about return possibilities from Svolvær:

• by plane from Svolvær airport Helle, via Bodø to Oslo airport Gardermoen (departure 05.55 AM arrival 08.55 AM, departure 11.40 AM arrival 01.55 PM, departure 02.15 PM arrival 04.35 PM or departure 06.30 PM arrival 09.50 PM)
• by the coastal express to Bodø (leaving Svolvær 07.30 PM and arriving in Bodø 01.30 AM) or to Harstad (leaving Svolvær 10.00 PM and arriving Harstad 06.45 AM).
• by smaller fast ferries to Bodø (leaving Svolvær 06.45 AM and arriving 10.15 AM).
